I like the prices but I wish they had window washing tools. I know they are trying to get people through fast (they tend to have lines of people waiting. Couldn't they put a window washing station on the side?

The Fairbanks, Alaska Costco is as good as any Costco you’ve ever been to. It is a stocked warehouse full of all the standard items you expect, plus a convenient gas station with cheaper prices. This one was refreshingly not busy, making for a much faster and relaxed experience. While a lot of people expect a unique outpost like this to carry an array of specialized regional items, that isn't the case here. There are no gimmicks or localized sections; it’s just a solid, basic, dependable Costco. Pro Tips: If you are renting a car at the airport or driving out to spots like Chena Hot Springs or North Pole, making a pit stop at this gas station first is one of the smartest ways to avoid the inflated fuel prices found closer to the rental counters. Also, the liquor situation: If you are looking to stock up on any beer or wine, keep in mind that due to local Alaskan regulations, the alcohol section is a separate liquor enclosure right by the entrance rather than being integrated into the main floor aisles.

Plenty of parking, cheap gas, love the way they have improved the flow of people into the building. Customer service is great. If the price of item drops within 30 days of purchase you can get a partial refund. They will accept partial eaten food back if you don’t like it. Huge meat, wine, whiskey and vegetables area. The sell gold and silver bars which are solid investments;) pun intended Great selection and price of TVs

Finally, I made a pilgrimage to the northernmost Costco in the world. The store had a huge selection of winter items, and the deli section also featured unique dishes like "combo calzone" and "turkey provolone." Surprisingly, this store has been open for 25 years.

This has to be the worst Costcos ever. Checked on tires 4 times and each time promised they would be checking for them. No follow up calls before showing up. Taylor was very nice but she does very poorly with follow up calls. She basically knows me by name since this is my 4th time coming to the store. I had an appointment today and no one called me that my tires were not here. I asked for a refund. Will skate around on my current tires until weather breaks. I would not recommend for tire service AT ALL. Save yourself time.
